Taking about names.

Not the best picture, but what do you call an ant with a red head and long legs like a spider?

I do love Australian names for things.

Then there's the "Cow Killer Ant" around here.

It's actually a wingless female wasp, Dasymutilla occidentalis, that searches along the ground for bumblebee larvae to lay her eggs on.

I did actually come across a sawfly today called cattle poisoner sawfly or something similar.

Well even though they aren't venomous, they do bite and it hurts. I'd see if you can gently catch and release him outside.

I'm not worried. There is no reason to be, it's more scared of me and definitely not behind our pillow. It's completely dissapeared since, probably only came out because we were on holiday.

MrsT is about ready to string her tax account up by his dangly bits - he’s had her taxes for nearly a month, she’s called to check on them a couple of times, and it was always, “I’m working on them…,” and she called yesterday and he said, “Yeah…I’m probably going to have to file an extension.”

Probably? It was the 14th at 3PM! Ya think?!

It prompted her to find a new accountant for next year, and I know she’s serious, because she set up a time to meet with the new one over the summer, to go over her stuff.

I dont blame her, I'd be livid. So unprofessional!

My taxes are complicated with investments and 1099s, but l'll keep doing them myself. I use tax software, which helps. I generally have them done sooner, but I had a lot of work projects going on.
