We had that last night. Water leaked into the garage, but it drained well and everthing important stayed dry.

Does that a lot around here too but we're up on a hill, about 100' higher than the river.

Yeah, we are on a hill as well, thankfully. We are also about half a mile from the nearest lake. I live in a place called Portage Lakes, a little south of Akron. The lakes haven't flooded in a very long time but I live far enough away and on high ground so it wouldn't matter.

All is good. No big flooding by me except for my walkway.
