I think they’re beautiful - just don’t pet the ones with white stripes running down their backs.

Mr SSOAP liked them straight away. I’m 50/50 at the moment. I’m sure I’ll fall hard one way or the other very soon!

They're in my backyard. Rumor has it that some Kent State University students (about 20 miles away from where I live) thought it would be funny to bring black squirrels into our area. They did. They breed like rats.

They are bigger than gray squirrels which means more meat on them...

This was one from a couple of years ago on my deck rail.

Our others are gray. I think they're prettier. They're very tame and relaxed.

Come in from the cold to warm up because it might officially be 4 degrees (celsius) but the wind coming off the sea has other ideas!
I can just about feel my fingers again, my nose though, nope.
The slow cooker did a great job warming my hands but I didn't really feel like I could put my schnoz on it

We use to come in from the cold, temp. < 10°F, and put your wrists under/in warm water. Works well.
