I've just caught sight of my OH's approach to packing!

Before you ask about the extension lead, we only have 1 travel adapter, so we put that on the on the extension lead which also has 2 USB power..

I have no idea what temperature it is in Hong Kong, but it's 11pm at night and the humidity is hell. The moment we stepped off the plane it was noticeable. I'm currently sitting down waiting for our gate to come up and the sweat is running off me. Yuck

Well damn it all!
Got up this morning and started my morning toilette - NO WATER!!!
Called to the resident manager ... "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, we had to shut off the water for an emergency but the plumber is on the way and it should be back up in acoupla hours."
And it was and I finally got a shower and washed my hair.
I'm certain that the plumber was paid well for an emergency call out on a Sunday AND it's Father's Day.

I'm sure! Nine years ago we were getting $600/hour for the tech called out anytime. Of course it was AC work and it was the desert...

I was too until I realised he was packing for Satnav in the same case and there are other yarns in there.
Yes and almost. They're yarn that has gone to my mum.
I don't like it, and don't knit with 8ply often. It's too warm for me. I bought some for a Fairisle garment I was knitting but fell out with it, so brought it over for my mum to have. But since arriving I've found out she's stopped knitting. So I guess it will go to charity in the UK rather than charity in Australia unless I can talk get into trying to knit a different way. There's loads of ways to knit, but she'd rather quit. She's done that with almost everything she used to do. Just sits there in her chair now.

Today's task is to take her into town to try to get her out to a café for a little time whilst my sister cleans their apartment.

Tomorrow is pizza party day, postponed from last week. Boss picked up the cake today, looks really good, there will be pizza, bottled water and fruit juice. A couple of people have booked tomorrow afternoon off, guess they don't like socialising, even though it is all free and a break from work. No pleasing some people.

As someone who doesn’t like in-person socializing, I always got around that by grabbing a plate, putting on a bit of food, setting it at a table with coworkers, then saying, “Oh, I forgot my drink, be right back!” - then I’d go fill another place and find a spot to hide in away from everything going on and eat in peace!

I am not the most sociable to be honest but this is a once in a lifetime thing so just going to chill out and enjoy...I haven't had to get involved with organising for a change.
