They aren't blood to your mum? If not, they don't deserve anything. Especially acting like that. If they get anything, they should be grateful. JMHO

Not at all related.
Apart from at the time one 15 year old who still lived elsewhere with his mum, they were all adults when my mum and their dad officially got together. I’ve met them 3 or 4 times.
But they think everything my mum has should included in the pot. Interestingly including my dad’s own house (my mum and dad officially split over 30 years ago).

They've not rung or text her once or even asked how she’s doing.
All whilst declaring “She was like a mum to us” and even they quietly trail off whilst saying that fib!

Heyho. It just means we have to be super careful about what we’re doing. Immaculate accounting, not a miss-step that litigation would leave us open to (because they are litigious).
Tis a total PITA!

It’s the reason my brothers couldn’t handle any more of it, and having now been on the receiving end I totally understand!

My wife and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in Cancun. As you can see, the coffee station in an all inclusive resort is a little bit different than most hotels.
 
This is a "scratching my head" saying, HUH?
I'm sitting here in our hotel room in Phoenix Arizona streaming our favorite radio station from Honolulu Hawaii, LIVE.
Tapping my toes, jumping up and dancing hula with the music as well as singing my little heart out, LOVE IT!!
Then we go to commercial break, and it's IN SPANISH for a business here in Phoenix ... WHAT THE WHAT?!

Thank you! We are not too far from there, in a resort called Riu Palace Kukulkan. It’s not that much hotter here than it is in Michigan, plus the view is better.
