Going to the hotel in about two hours, will have dinner and breakfast there tonight, tomorrow morning and the coming two nights and mornings as well. My husband's going to take care of the daily going-ons, leaving me to relax in the hotel. I am lucky to have such an indulgent husband! 🥰
Tomorrow he'll be gone to watch the house and then go teach his First aid class in the evening, so I am going to visit a city on my own by train. Not sure which one yet, am currently considering either Rotterdam or Amsterdam.

When we lived in Minnesota, we had all our windows replaced in our house, about a dozen. It was scheduled for the dead of winter, and Minnesota is bitterly cold (think Norway), and I was not looking forward to them coming out and taking all day to remove and replace windows, because I knew the house would be freezing.

I needn’t have worried. They came out with a crack team of six or eight workmen, and they attacked the windows all at once, old ones out, new ones in, and I don’t think they were there for more than a couple of hours, and I never really noticed much of a temp difference in the house except where they were actually working.
