Ozzie the Outrageous terrified the substitute mail carrier today so they're going to hold a package for me to go pick up. I guess she didn't have pizza...View attachment 140657

Well that worked out. I got a notification that my package was in the mailbox so I called the post office to thank the supervisor and found out that he's the husband of my mail carrier, Jessica, that I was giving fresh tomatoes, chili's, squash, cucumbers, and stuff to all summer. He knew me from the address and loved my tomatoes! 🤣

I'll apologise now for the next few days. I'm a little distracted and got a lot on my plate at the moment. My sister's first dog was euthanised on Saturday (been in palative care for 18 mnths with a benign liver tumour), at the same time our step father had an emergency admission (via 111) into a&e with heart problems. He was discharged with new meds same day as snd a "you'll get an appointment either Sunday or Monday"... well he didn't get one and is now back in hospital via 999 when things got worse.

so I might be a bit absent over the next few days, or distracted, or my typos worse than normal etc... so, I'll apologise now.

How’s Pippi doing today? Meds working?
Give the sweet baby a hug and a pat for me.
She's doing fine with her meds. She gets phenobarbital twice a day in a drink of water. No seizure indications but she is almost 15 so there are other age issues but I watch out for her. Thank you for asking! ☺️

Finally, my first succesful practice car theory exam.

Only 6 mistakes are permitted to be considered as passed. It's rather difficult!

Tuesday next week will be my first real theory exam, so I hope my score will stay around this level now. I know zero people who managed to get their car theory at the first try (and almost everyone I know is a university graduate) so I'm not too confident.. But I still have a week to study and will use it.

I'm sorry to hear it, I'm sending your stepfather well wishes and you some hugs  take care of yourself, I'm sure we'll manage over here. Hope things will get better soon.
