The General Chat Thread (2026)

DH was informed that his email was on "the dark web" and it was suggested that his password should be changed.
So he did so on my laptop.
You should have seen him struggling with "Windows", he's use to using his Apple devices...

THEN his email wouldn't work correctly on his Apple devices!

We struggled some more trying to figure out what we needed to do to correct this.
I am not a fan of IOS and am not as versed in it as I am on Windows.
DH got so frustrated, he gave up.
I kept saying that he just give it to me and let me fiddle with it... "NO! Never mind!"
🤷‍♀️
OK.

Off to his "man cave" he went to brood ...
I let it be for a bit and just every so nonchalantly went over, took his phone, went back to my desk and asked Mister Google what I should be doing to fix this problem.
BINGO!

DH: what would I ever do without you?
Moi: have to pay someone alot of money to do what I do

We’ll file this under Life in a Small Town:

I’ve mentioned before that due to various health issues for both of us, MrsT and I are very well-known at our local pharmacy. We’re on a first name basis with most of the workers there, and they all know our birthdates because we’re in there so often.

Well, I haven’t been in there recently due to my surgery, and MrsT has been picking everything up. Of course, she’s told them about what was going on with me.

Today, I went in, and before I could even get to the line, the head pharmacist saw me and shouted, “Tasty! Oh my god! How are you?!”

Then she ran out from behind the counter and gave me a big hug, saying, “All us girls have been so worried about you! I’m so happy to see you!” - we both may have been a little misty-eyed at that point.

By the time I got up to the register to get my meds, all “the girls” had given me a big shout hello and wished me well.

Pretty good feeling.

I have my very own toolbox and I used our electric sander this afternoon #girlswithtools
