Missed you but didn't want to pry. Sorry to hear you have been in hospital again - you were doing so well.If you guys missed me, I have been gone for about 2 weeks because my Crohns has flared up again and I have been in hospital for a bit. Now back home and waiting for an MRI on April 3d.

Well I am trucking on , quite literally. Got antibiotics and have needed to slow down but I am still taking driving lessons and doing well there so that keeps me motivated. Just can't excercise as much because I have another abcess in the leftover part of my colon. So need to adjust and adapt but I won't let this win. If I can make it to my driving license even when flaring, nothing will stop me!Missed you but didn't want to pry. Sorry to hear you have been in hospital again - you were doing so well.
How are you doing now?
That's understandable. We also live off the one wage, so i fully understand. Also sorry to say I had stopped our monthly contribution for now because my husband has still not got a job and we're having to cut our budget a bit
Sorry to hear! We're grateful to need our car a lot less around here, we haven't yet had to refuel while this is going on so far. And my driving lessons are pre paid until july, so we're off the hook for now. That's understandable. We also live off the one wage, so i fully understand.
Right now we're almost down to one vehicle. Fuel has hit stupid prices. I saw AU$2.90/L (for deisel) whilst out today (medical appt) and with a 96L tank, we're very aware that filling up is now well over $250 a tank (for petrol). That's £125 in British money and frankly that's beyond our budget. And that was a cheap fuel station!
Not sure I'll actually be able to attend my graduation at this rate! It's 1,000km each way and even in our main vehicle it's still going to cost a fortune.
It's harvest season... so we save a reasonable amount in fruit and veg growing our own, but my meds cost a lot, so I just don't leave the house/ farm that often unless I absolutely have to like today, and I double or triple journeys up. So today in the past I would have just gone to my medical appt alone and come straight home. This time, I've done the weekly shop and also been to the hardware store, collected my meds from another town and driven home. I'm exhausted and missed a day from uni, but I'll do the uni work tomorrow instead. It's saved about 200km of driving in the process. I'll sleep longer in the morning for the next few days, to catch up and rest up before Monday. How are you coping?

You’re smart though and solving this in an efficient way!
