The morning after the night before recipes

For those that drink alcohol, do you have a hangover cure recipe? It could be food or drink. Does 'hair of the dog' work for you?

Tell us your tried and tested 'cures' or maybe any as yet untested ideas!

Foodwise, I'd probably do potatoes. Probably fried, with bacon, cheese, onions, peppers, chiles and an egg - or two

More preventive - two glasses of water and two Tylenol/aspirin/other pain reliever before starting the festivities.

That's the one - the water, but hadn't heard of the pain reliever component

Reputedly, Spanish Sopa de Ajo (garlic soup). But a great soup, in any case.

A bloody Mary works wonders.
Otherwise a beer or cider (the fizzy alcoholic type)

Something like a spam or bacon sandwich does it for me usually. And I've learned to drink a lot of water just before going to sleep to help mitigate some of the after effects.

If I'm feeling lazy, a McD Delivery Sausage & Egg McMuffin usually helps. You can see a pattern here - some kind of salty, fatty pork affair with bread.
