We're intending to book this cruise if there are still spots available in January. It's my ultimate dream to go to the North cape and my husband has agreed to the idea, but we're only going to book when he has a new employer (his company is bankrupt and he needs to find a new job before January 1st). Seems like a good way to celebrate a new job to me!
And he's getting inundated with recuiters atm, so I am pretty sure we'll realise this dream of mine :dance: I'll update once I know!

I have a friend who was an exchange student back in high school who lives there. Her dad has a farm. She invited me to come and stay for the summer with her there and my mom got me a passport. I was 16. One of my older sisters (the one who I never got along with) brought her son with chicken pox to visit us the weekend before I was leaving, knowing I had never had chicken pox. Yup, I got chicken pox and had to scrub the trip. 🤒

My sister thought it was funny and said that's what I got for telling on her (I don't remember what for) when I was 6 years old.

Hmm that would sting and not one I’d quickly forget!
 
So a very mundane trip compared to the wonders above. Positively pedestrian in fact but still I’m looking forward to it.
My youngests band need somewhere to record so I’ve offered my garage. It’s a decent size and reasonably warm.
Mr SSOAP and I are going to get out of their hair so they can behave naturally without the spectre of parental figures looming.

I’ve booked a place on the far side of the Cotswolds just 1 1/2 hours away.
Some might think I’ve deliberately booked a place thats just 10 mins from the Robert Welch shop were all the shiny cutlery lives, but I couldn’t possibly comment, even if I have the money saved, the route planned and a list of things to look at I still couldn’t say 😂
