You were right - but it was the phone memory cache rather than the ddg app cache Funnily, I do clear it a lot as it fills up pretty fast (I could increase its size but not inclined to) but it never seemed to be connected to uploading images which it obviously must be

I did which is my I asked - pro usually is a upgraded paid version of an existing app/item The app you screen grabbed is SDMaid which is what threw me off as had not mentioned it by name.

The phone already does a lot of that

My phone won't do it unless it's user initiated so I've the app to do it automagically.

It's quick too. It finishes my phone in around 15 seconds.

Mine's under device care - not sure if there's a schedule/auto setting but takes about 5 seconds to 'clean' the memory

Yeah, my phone has something in device care too but it's not automatic and there's not a log of what it's doing.
