Just out of curiosity, and you can tell me to mind my own business if you wish but how does a Scotish girl, living in Australia wind up owning a Cooking Forum from within the US?

The site is a UK site. It's common in there UK to pay extra and use a .com domain extension rather than .co.uk.

There are times when I wonder why I do it!

Don't ask the moderators about lemons! There arguments that were had over lemon juice from a fresh lemon and lemon juice from a jar/container off the supermarket shelf were unreal. Mind you the member who asked should have been taken out and shot. No-one would have been any the wiser if they'd just said 2 tbsp of lemon juice and left it at that! :surrender:

Unfortunately that seems to be a trait of most forums - there will ALWAYS be at least one protagonist who just has to be right about everything all of the time. Try sitting in a model train forum for a week and I am sure you'll age 50 years listening to some of the garbage that people go on with :)

To be honest, I think the worse question anyone can ask is:

What is the best .........

That question prefix should be banned :)

We use to goto train collector meetings. Lionel HO gauge. Have rooms of those...
 
I started with HO then migrated to N Scale and a G Gauge for outside but that became too much work with weeds and so forth. I like my N Scale gives a lot of options for layout design :)

However, I think uploading videos is a great idea - at least uploading the links - we could watch people at work and maybe have one of those video blog things where people pretend to be experts in something ... well, just adding alink to post would probably be better and easeir and quicker too
