Using a tagine

Hello,

It's the first time I've been part of a forum..so please do bear with me. I must say Im not a keen cook although I am trying to learn to cook things that are enjoyable rather than just...edible. I got a tagine dish it is a "Mason Cash tagine casserole"(in case that means anything) It says it is oven safe but not hob safe..so I really I am very confuse as to how to use it.
I would appreciate any advice and/or not too complex recipes.

Oven safe means you can put it in the oven.
Hob safe (or in this case not) means you can put it on the rings (gas or electric/halogen etc).

So basically what you have is a vessel that can go in the oven but not on a ring where a saucepan goes.

So it's not really a tagine then is it?
