Vacuum Cleaner or Hoover?

My main vacuum cleaner is a Rainbow. It has a water filtration system in it and it traps all kinds of dust and dirt. I can smell the difference in the air after using it (I used it today). I also have an Oreck and a Shark that get regular use for just touchups. The Oreck lives upstars in the foyer by the office and guest bedroom. I only use the Rainbow about once a month, but even when the floors, baseboards, etc. don't look that dirty, that water comes out filthy. It's kind of fascinating and satisfying in an odd way.

I've heard of those they're supposed to be pretty good! They sell those too where I got my Kirby. GreatVacs.com

It was about $800 when we bought it. I've had it for about 18 years and it still works great.
This is ours

I bought this 9-gallon vacuum cleaner from Home Depot, since there are no carpets in the apartment at all.The powerful suction of the unit picks up just about everything!!!! Including water!!! :whistling:

this is the story I've always heard . . .
"Vacuum cleaners began to be sold in the UK in the early 20th century, with significant sales starting around 1908 when the Hoover Company established a major base there. The brand became synonymous with vacuum cleaners in the UK due to its dominance in the market during that time."
