So am I. When getting something for the kichen, I replace the old appliance with the new item. Like I'm about to do with the coffee maker & the old cookware set. It helps avoid clutter.

I got a "whatever brand" vacuum sealer, but I hardly ever use it

Speaking of which, I gave away the old Foodsaver-style vacuum sealer when I got the Wevac machine. Here it is.It ended up becoming worthless also. Like Foodsaver.So am I. I never bought any because I use and reuse Ziplock bags.

I absolutely LOVE my Wevac chamber vacuum sealer!!!! It's small, but I don't care. It works just like the larger machines do, & it does the job very well. The powerful motor performs just like it did when it first came!! The chamber is kind of small,but I love it anyway! The best part is that I can vacuum seal liquids like water, soups, stews & stocks, & there's no leakage at all, something that I was never able to do with the crappy Foodsaver-type machines.
