Yeah, the dishwasher detergent, at least the stuff I use, strips that off in short order. My 1-cup measure is fading fast, so now I put that one in just to hasten its demise, but I’m preserving the others.
I have one embossed one, but that brings up another issue…I can’t read the damn thing without the paint on it. It just looks like so many bumps on the glass!
Wooden stuff, no…been there, thrown that away. That heat from the sanitizing cycle is death on anything wood. That, and I suppose the heat from the water and the cycle time - mine runs for two hours, and all that hot water, then the heat blast…that wood cracks in no time.
You want the funny bit - those are two wooden-handled rubber spatulas…$2 for a 3-pack- I’ve got two left!
