After escaping extreme weather so far this winter a nasty cold rainy snowy windy storm front came thru in the wee hours followed by a power and cellphone service outage until early afternoon. Not nice. But we got a bit of precip.

Supposed to be winter. It hasn't been cold enough for long enough to kill off the insects. My vacuum bag is 1/4 full of Chinese Lady Beetles that haven't stopped coming in the house since November. That's many 1,000's...

We might get an ice storm tomorrow, so that’s nice.

(In all honesty I’m just keeping my fingers crossed the damn power stays on…)
