The heatwave returns tomorrow.

It's not like we've even escaped a cold spell, but yet another cold front is moving in. It's 19* F as of 7:00 am, and it's to drop to 10* during the day, and then 5* overnight. The wind is kicking up and will be 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 50. Time to pull the trash cans in the garage...

That’s what we’ve got going on today. It’s heading your way.

There is about 500 miles north to south shown on this map, roughly and the front is about 200 miles wide on the right hand side. So stretching from Canberra to Sydney.

It is moving in such a way that the blue dot where i live will get all of it. It's moving top left to bottom right. That's our usual weather pattern.

The numbers of mm of rain some areas have recorded. We're at 23mm, so almost an inch so far.

Hopefully it will continue. We're low on water and the fire risk has been extreme with total fire bans (which means no work outside that can cause a spark, so no tractor pulling a plough, no cutting there lawn in case you hit a stone that can cause a spark, etc) for a week or more so far.
