Highs in the mid-70’s today (low 20’s C), and then highs in the low-30’s tomorrow (minus single digits C), with snow showers Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday down to the single digits F.

Weather whiplash, for sure. When that cold front moves in, where looking at high winds, hail, and possible tornadoes, all arriving between midnight and 4AM. Ugh. No sleep for me.

We’re now getting 60mph gusts. I’m in town, and it was rather challenging driving in. We have a propane tank exchange service at the grocery store, and I just watched both racks blow over.

Wow! Here they're anchored with concrete wedge bolts so they don't get stolen.

karadekoolaid To add to your concrete vocabulary this is a wedge anchor. It goes in a pre-drilled hole with the wedge at the bottom. As you tighten the nut the threaded rod comes up pushing the wedge against the wall retaining part. These are very strong devices.
