Weekly menu (2026)

Friday will be Greek salad, I did buy some Feta cheese and sardines.
My husband and daughter love and ate the ribs, not sure there will be anything left for Friday.

I went to Sprouts and got 2 small racks of lamb from New Zealand with my $10 coupon off, this will be Valentine’s lunch.
I also bought a single pack of organic ground meat to make pasta with mushrooms. For some reason the ground bison was more expensive than what I saw previously, so I skipped buying it.
At Costco, one has to buy multiple packs, I only want one pack. I checked my pasta and I found a bag of unusual shape from Germany, wide and square-ish shape, so that’s going to be my pasta tomorrow. This time, I’m going to use the whole bag, with meat and a lot of mushrooms, it will balance out.

Truly Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Wings
I have Dijon mustard and Honey, I will coat some with Honey Dijon mustard sauce.
Then some I will coat with regular BBQ sauce and coffee. Then some I will coat with Gojuchan sauce.

I will do it slightly different from the recipe, I might coat some of the wings in sauce and bake for an extra 10 minutes, all done outside.

The weekly menu is changing again, don’t you love it. After a goodnight sleep I then realized I have ricotta cheese in the fridge, so the ground meat will be used in both recipes, pasta and lasagna. I have a large bag of mushrooms, so that will go very well with both dishes. So the Saturday I will make beef, mushroom, pasta and beef, mushroom lasagna. My husband can eat the lasagna for dinner and Monday for lunch.

I chopped half of my mushrooms and I still have lots of mushrooms, thinking of doing an Indian dish, black eyed peas and mushrooms, I have all the ingredients, my friend Sashi taught me this dish, it’s delicious.

Finally I cooked the black eyed peas, just boiled them, I will make the dish Tuesday. We have a lot of food to eat in our fridge, freezer, perhaps no supermarket shopping for next week. I’ll probably go shopping Tuesday.
