What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2025)?

I've had my mini waffle maker for awhile and I always think of TastyReuben when I make waffles because if I remember correctly he has some retro pale aqua colored small appliances that match. It looks bluer in my photo than it really is.

I have that exact one. Same color also.

I do have one, from Dash, and it makes snowman waffles for Christmas/winter.

I've just ordered a whole load of canning lids, the flat bit, not the screw part.
100 of them. I don't need 100, but 25 of them was 13 Euro and 100 is 17.
Now hoping they fit properly :wacky:
(Ordered on Amazon and coming with a friend of mine. From the Amazon to the Zambezi, or from A to Z :hyper:)
When I buy the next round of lids I'm getting those reusable ones.

I’ve had this for a few years after a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. It’s cute but actually not super useful due to its shape, but it does come in handy (groan) to do things like assist in flipping something in a pan in conjunction with another utensil. I used it today to make a grilled cheese.

Not for the kitchen per se, but it involves food:

A plug-in fridge-freezer for the car…we have three road trips coming up, so this should prove useful, especially with bringing some specialties back from Pennsylvania next month.

I got one of those, not that brand, for my trip from NV to GA. 👍 In case it doesn't tell you, and I'm sure you'd figure it out anyway, it's best to plug it in 24 hours *before* you put it in the car. I also put the containers I'd be using in it as well. When it was time to leave everything going in the cooler was already chilled.

TastyReuben one of our pals from S.AZ had one of these for their car and they loved it.
They made multiple road trips to Square Dancing competitions and liked to "camp" in their van (she was real tightwad and refused to pay for a hotel nor food out).

That might have helped us on your THREE road trips across the country (about 2500 miles each way, each time) but I have a pretty good system for traveling with food, as well as cooking in a motel room (I really like "motor court" type places).
