What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2025)?

I wasn't actually planning to buy it (are you guys picking up that I'm not big on planning?), but I spotted this when I 'accidentally' walked into the cooking section at the supermarket. I liked that it looks capable of cutting through even a harder ice cream without a major fight.

I also picked up some tubs for my fake muller rice

and 2 different sizes of this pyrex food storage / cook tub (the other was 1 litre) - I liked that it has a little ventilation whatsit on it that can also be sealed shut.

I need to stop 'accidentally' walking through cooking departments :whistling:

A Ninja Foodi 15 in 1
A bit expensive but it’s so hot in Spain the majority of the year I avoid turning the oven on at all costs.
That means a lot of lovely things are off the menu - no roast, no baking or even something as simple as a bowl of chips are forgone.
So I’m ready (after 5 years of deliberating😬😝) to fork out for one.
Now I’ve finally decided to take the plunge I’m very excited about it, I’m not quite so excited about trying to lash it to the back of my bike 😂

My replacement work bowl and metal blade arrived yesterday for my Cuisinart Food Processor ... I loaded `er up to make Summer Slaw ... the cover doesn't fit!? WTF! Why not? What am I doing wrong?
I called to customer service and the very nice gentleman on the other end informed me that Cuisinart had changed the material that they use to make all of their plastic parts - no BPA - and they have designed the new components to be incompatible with one another!
"I'm certain that you were unaware of this ... let me send you the matching cover at no charge..."
Oh my, thank you so much, no I had no clue that all of this had taken place, thank you!!!

Getting water weekly from a spring involves a five gallon jug or two and those are cumbersome to fill things with when full. Now I've got a two gallon jug with a spigot and a stand! $25 used and the stand means I'm not playing with glass and a granite counter at the same time! 🙏

The spring water effervesces as it warms up to house temp. 😁

I had 2 of those awhile back I gave to my youngest daughter since she entertains. Quite handy for boozy lemonades and such.

It's not an item, it's a whole kitchen. I'm so excited it's been 12 months in the process (getting stuffed around by a kitchen company didn't help) & today I finalised payment on my stove. Fingers crossed everything should be done within a couple of weeks.
This isn't exactly it but it's similar

Very nice. Look forward to seeing the end result!

Snap.

Bought two of those recently (my lot eat fast) and I’m happy with them price v’s quality wise.
I should probably mention it appears the ‘floating hinge’ doesn’t float but it does, you have to unlock the mechanism for that to happen.
Which I only discovered accidentally cleaning them after their fourth outing

How recently did you buy them? On the Cuisinart uk site, in the last 7 months a number of people have reported electrics tripping - but of course there is the potential for that being due to older wiring in a house.
I was considering the grill/sandwich maker and adding the waffle/pancake plates as they seem to basically be identical other than the paint job on them. The grill/sandwich maker is free from the reported fault tho.

Just in case you may be interested in adding these to your machine

Always good to have a quality waffle maker. I have a Cuisinart as well with a thermostat. 👍
Agreed, I'm liking the ability to add plates, I don't understand why so many waffle makers are only for waffles, when interchangable plates have been around for so long.
I'm totally looking forward to my 4-in-1 machine

Yes I read that before I bought them 👍
Looked like they sorted the problem out before I bought mine just over two months ago.
I don’t generally have a problem with my electrics tripping. Even the Ninja outdoor oven which is renowned for causing the electric to trip has been fine. I run two at the same time with no problems.

I did see those and briefly considered the grill plates but it’s such a small surface areas I’d be there forever trying to churn out enough food for everyone!
