Yes, it works fine. I just picked up another bottle of gas yesterday at Ace Hardware for $7. A bottle lasts several years.Wow, do you still use it?
And if that's too intense I've got this with a dial... I like being prepared...

I've got this one leftover from plumbing repairs decades ago...View attachment 135732
I keep one of those by my gas grill, and also use it to light fires in my pit.
And once to color up some mashed potatoes I had on a casserole because the broiler was not working fast enough on the potatoes compared to whatever it was I was making.

Yes, impatience leads to more tools. That hot air gun is excellent for melting cheese w/out that whole broiler thing going on. It's adjustable from around 120 °F up to 750 °F.![]()
I remember that![insert Richard Pryor joke here]
IDK, some cheap thing I picked up at Walmart or the dollar store. Mine works great and I actually have 2 of them, one for cleaning out cast iron pans or grill tools (has dark residue on the bristles and I keep it in a bucket in the pantry). The other is in a glass container near my soap dispenser and faucet at the kitchen sink. I run it through the dishwasher periodically.I have a small. I like yours. What brand is it? Does it have a specific name?
I'm probably 3x a week. Once a week, even with groomer girl meals going on?Dishwasher once a week here.
And creme brulee?I didn’t think of melting cheese with this, now I have to try it as soon as possible! I just wanted to use it for cakes or the burnt cream.. or to light a cigarette
And creme brulee?
I'll be flying over to visit soon!Of course!
