What are these for?

I'm staying in the lake district and came across these in the kitchen cupboard. What are they for?

The makers stamp is in James Macintyre & Co Ltd, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent which I know from my childhood growing up in the area (it's the area a lot of big pottery firms like Wedgwood, Moorcroft, Aynsley, Burleigh, Dudson, Emma Bridgewater, Spode and Royal Doulton to name just a few).

Back when everyone smoked, maybe that’s an ashtray set for Papa, Mama, and Baby!

Looks like some kind of "warmer" that can pour. Maybe butter?

Genius! I used to develop X-ray films but we didn't have anything like that.

I vaguely remember something similar, in plastic, now when I used to do all my own b&w development, but that was 32 years ago.
