What are you afraid of?

Wasps and bees, I am allergic. I don't like eating outdoors at all. Festivals are also unpleasant for me in summer, I need to watch out all the time.

Aside from that, hospital drips/tubes ( not sure about the name in English) that go through the nose. I have a broken nose that's not been set correctly, so trying to put one in was traumatic. I hope I will never need one again. It's been one of the worst hospital experiences I ever had.
Do you carry an epi pen?
Still better to avoid than cure, obviously

I am afraid as f*** of jellyfish. I can start running on waters like Jesus if I only hear someone says jellyfish.
And wasps. I become hysterical when I see them flying around.

I recall being in the Gulf of Mexico and diving off the sailboat, right into a bunch of moon jellyfish. It was like an ant bite, except everywhere all at once since I landed in all the nettles. 🙁 The treatment was simple enough, meat tenderizer. The enzyme in the tenderizer breaks down the toxin.

I keep a jar of meat tenderizer in my first aid drawer what with all the biting bugs around here.

Heights; I get vertigo. I don't know where this came from, because, as a kid, I'd climb trees like a little monkey.
We went to Chicago about 4 yrs ago, to the (former) Sears building, 94th floor. Everyone pressed against the window, and me, 2 mts back.
I even get vertigo watching Tom Cruise staring over the edge of a mountain top.
Flying, on the other hand, is no problem at all.

Many years ago I was stung on both of my legs by a medium-sized jellyfish, one of those with a blue ring around they head. The pain was unbelievable. Two people who were surfing rescued me, and once we got to the beach they covered my legs with scorching hot sand.

In the Mediterranean?

Slugs. Snails I'm completely fine with. Well they're not my favourite critter, but you could ascribe the adjectives 'cute' to some of them and 'harmless' since they've got that shell that they go in that renders them dry to touch. Slugs can eff off and if I had my personal flame-thrower with me, I'd burn them all with fire.

Not super keen on deep water either. I'm fine on a ship, but give me a snorkel and even in just 20 feet of pristine tropical water I'm like 'nope' after two minutes as my brain is like 'that coral is the kraken - you should get on the boat now'.
