We're getting gussied up for dinner with DH's older sister and BIL.
This is supposedly a fancy joint, heh, this is Hawaii, this is as good it's gonna get for us!

I was highly color-coordinated yesterday. Hat=undershirt=stripe in shirt=socks (not pictured=eyes (if I may be so bold!
).
Also not pictured, goldenrod trousers, and the socks were the aforementioned blue, with matching gold polka dots, and brown brogues.

Cotton, or flax. That's the only fabric I can tolerate in the 34c ( and more in the sun).
For the hospital/city, black pants, white and black buttondown shirt, black baseball cap. I honestly wished the cap was white...I might get one or use the straw hat.
I mean, the straw is very beach appropriate , but today it would have been better, not to absorb that much sun.
Then for the outdoors a striped white beige t shirt, plus a white scarf, to protect me from sunburn. Of course I spilled coffee twice on the white scarf. And it felt sweltering hot under it...
The wonderful tree shade saved it all.
