That's how I'd like it. I once threw some cooked mushrooms into the mixture and it was delish, but I find it a bit plain on it's own.

I've only ever had it as a vehicle for some other food.

I had a Maccys for lunch because I can eat what I want and nobody can stop me. Just a simple cheeseburger and small fries with an orange juice. I must say I think I prefer their breakfast menu these days, the sausage and egg Mcmuffin tends to hit the spot

So far, I've eaten an apple pastry, accompanied with a large cup of coffee (marrón grande, not Starbucks ) .
I'm now waiting patiently (well, ok, impatiently) for a baked potato to cook through, and I'm going to cover it with chile con carne that I made last night.
And cream.
And cheese.
And some pico de gallo.

I had 2 pieces of pepperoni pizza for breakfast. Awhile back I did a slew of Pizza Hut evaluations and had more pizza than I could eat, so into the freezer it went. I like it for a quick and easy breakfast before going to work (unless I am doing dine-in restaurant evaluations). I like going to Jersey Mike's on an empty stomach, LOL.

There's a café a couple of miles down the road that always has pizza slices. Their dough is delicious, and the topping just hits the spot for breakfast.

Yes, and I have a toaster oven (well multiappliance) to heat it in. I know some people can nuke it (no way will I do that) and some people will eat it cold (well yes many years ago I did that as a hangover cure accompanied by a cold beer).

Y'all reminding me I forgot to take my starter out of the fridge for my next dough experiment. It's out now so tomorrow it is. Getting a late start so I plopped in a Tbsp of molasses to get her going.

I think I will be needing that soon. 10am and already over 28C... I think it is going to be very hot today, so I have already let the chooks out to free-range. We have had fox issues of late, but this is too hot and too stressful for them, so today they are out.

I am trying to hide indoors. A pot of morrocan mint tea is cooling in the fridge. I made a large jug. i think I will be needing it.

Yes, it's one of those granite type ones but it wasn't hot enough.
