Yep, normally we eat at 6pm.

But this weekend has not been normal.

Salad with minced tempeh and chickpeas in a Korean sauce.

Haven't eaten or cooked anything yet BUT, tonight my better half is cooking up a crock pot full of her famous chilli - well, famous in this house anyway, but it is good! Puts it on to cook away for 4 hours and with biscuits - none goes to waste

I wonder does chilli ever go to waste? I can’t think it does. It’s so easy to reheat or freeze and there’s more than one good accompaniment I bet it’s very economical from that POV too.

On Tuesday I took an ambulance to hospital suffering with paranoid halucinations and extreme pain in my hip, such are the joys of cancer treatment. Which makes my trip to Waitose followed a ponce in the kitchen even more remarkable this morning.

Brunch yesterday. Poached eggs, corned beef hash, tomatoes, and toast. Rosehip and hibiscus tea with honey.
Had a late dinner of 3 Trader Joe's small triangle spinach pies.

I got crackers and cheeses, and meats from Aldi's to make a charcuterie platter, and I can't find the meats anywhere. I blame my cat, he must have stolen the package and hid it.
