What did you cook or eat today? (December 2025)

Thsnks for that precision. I know you must use a pizza pan and they're industrially standard sized - I'm a nosebag to see how thin you stretch your dough! 😎 My basic pan is 14" and I use 16" too.

And I'm making an overnight dough with all the pizza flurry around here 😅

PS Do you use refreshed starter or old?
We'll need pictures please! 🤠

Is that a thing? Or is just simply as it says?

Pasta in broth really exists! And is amazing, a great comfort food especially when it’s cold or you get a cold.
It’s usually a very small-size pasta (hence the real name “pastina” - tiny pasta) and you can cook it both in vegetable or meat broth.

It is a thing and also exactly what the title says.
Just good broth chicken and tiny pasta.
But when I saw the three ingredients Mr SSOAP pick up I had to change course and made a version of a spicy laska soup instead, heyho.

Spicy Chicken Laska with golden lilly root.

Much lighter colour IRL but sometimes the camera does whatever it wants.
Just what the Dr ordered 😊

That greek style Chicken deli filler sounds interesting.
What’s it like?
Sounds like the sort of emergency sandwich filler I’d like zhuzhed up with a bit of extra cucumber and a few fresh herbs.

It never ceases to amaze me how even though I spend a fair portion of my life zhuzhing things up that I can never remember how to spell zhuzh!
The first thing I smelt when I opened the tub was mint and I've never had mint with chicken in mayonnaise before so i was a little apprehensive - buy you know what? It kinda works! The mint, cucumber and onion go very well with the chicken and I shall be finishing it off for todays lunch 😋
