Sweetcorn fritters on a vegan brioche bap

Craig wanted pizza. So, we made the drive to our favorite pizza joint for takeout and tried their new wings as well. Similar to Recipe - Anthony's Coal Fired Wings , but much less citrus. They basically copied the recipe, including onions and focaccia, but left out most, if not all the citrus. We liked the new method better. Oh, that's my pizza. Craig had sausage, meatballs and onions.

Canned gravy!!! 😀

(I had to look it up and around here you'd -never- tell anyone you bought gravy... 😁)
I do occasionally get bottled (tried canned only once, tasted like metal can to me) gravy. Mostly when not feeling well. Mashed potatoes with pork gravy are a favorite comfort food.

Nothing wrong ith that what so ever - I always use Heinz (in a jar) Beef Gravy :D

Tonmight the OH is cooking us chilli of the "mild" variety with Italian Bread. Perfect on a cold, dreary, miserable night :)

Should have added smashed spuds as well with "real sausages" - perfect when covered in rich brown savory beef gravy :)

My "mild" chilli always gets a couple of homegrown cayenne chilli's.
