Z-Cook no, no Meyer Lemon tree here, but the green grocer has them, $1.99/lb
I love Meyer Lemons.
Told DH today that we need to put aside some of the juice for Sherbet in the Summer, very refreshing.
There was a restaurant in my mother's hometown that served it and I found a way to make my own.
There's also a creamy/dairy a few towns away that had fresh Peach Ice Cream in the Summer time, YUM!

Wow great price. Just checked Sprouts and they're 5.99/lb. Me, I just adore grapefruit and Sevilles.

We have a friendly tree i.e. friend who has a 2 storey high grapefruit tree and and other bits n bob citrus including a Meyer and ornamental Sevilles at the neighbour which they're fine to give away with as no one seems to use them over here. Bit like Spain where they're often grown as ornamentals - seems that only mad Brits like them for marmalade tho they're used for fantastic marinades and salsas elsewhere in the Caribbean area.

Speaking of which, Seville marmalade result, few days old but

Where do you get your seville oranges from?

From a friend in Tucson - they're usually grown as ornamentals - never seen the fruit for sale outside the UK tbh but they might be sold in specialty Caribbean/Mex stores - they're used for marinades and salsas like Yucatan pickled red onions (fantastic btw) served with cochinita pibil for e.g. tho most recipes sub a mix of lime/grapefruit/orange juice or vinegar.

Had an absolutely delicious supper tonight - a dish with the delightful name of New England Bean and Bog Cassoulet.

Chicken thighs, chicken sausages, pork & beans, tomatoes, broth, shallots, and cranberries, believe it or not.

Once the soup portion is done, it gets topped with cubed stale croissants tossed in oil and seasonings and popped back in the oven to get a crispy, buttery crust on top.

I had my doubts, but it was magnificent!
