What did you cook or eat today (February 2026)?

My "tikka massala" sauce with hard boiled eggs, daikon & carroy pickle and a little bit of lime pickle

Ribs, the end pieces are a bit salty(to me). Next time I pay attention. Also I opened a new salt bag, maybe I got carried away.
The sweetness of the baked beans help, and so was the shredded cabbage, was soaking in vinegar, sugar, and water.
I had to eat a bowl of ice cream to recover.

They look good. When you say black beans, do you mean fermented black beans? They are naturally salty...

DH asked what was for supper...
On the menu for this evening is Smoked Kielbasa with home fried potato-sweet peppers-onions and green beans ... we're sticking to softer, easier to chew on one side foods ... "Don't you really mean to say Cheesesteak sandwiches from our favorite joint?"
BAHAHA!
That's a great idea, but we're going there after we go have our taxes done tomorrow ...
DH: SHUCKS! Ya know what I wish?
Moi: What's that dear?
DH: That they were right up our street and we could go there when ever we liked
Moi: Weeeelllll, that might prove to be very dangerous for our girlish figures, don't ya think? We need to be able to fit into our swimsuits this Summer ...
