What did you cook or eat today? (January 2026)

Freezer finds mostly.

Luke warm ratatouille and a vegan brioche bun with satay tofu.

Leftover bronzino I'd made for lunch, then some leftover Costco rotisserie chicken for dinner, plus some fruit that my retired neighbors had delivered to us this evening after we shoveled their driveway last weekend. That was totally unnecessary of them, but appreciated all the same.

In solidarity to my DH who could not have spicy foods nor that ever present steamed White Rice for the past THREE WEEKS due to his oral surgery, I didn't have any either!

I made plate a "deluxe teri-chicken BBQ plate" ... OH MAN!!!
Missing in the above phot is the Aloha Shoyu (soy sauce) and furikake on that rice.
Both of us were, "oh man" with every bite!!!
