What did you cook or eat today? (January 2026)

Do you DIY? Not that we can get sold-alone duck legs in these parts. Usual for garbure yesterday but used remains of smoked turkey instead - good too

I do yes; frozen duck legs aren't too hard to get here.

I use a sous vide method instead of the traditional way that makes your house smell of duck fat for a week.

Here they after a bath at 68C for 36 hours:
