"I don't like things I hate"
Yeah, but it had some liquid in it, and I don't know where I went wrong. The amount of ingredients were spot on, the liquid to egg ratio was perfect. The timing and the temp were correct. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't put it on the bottom rack.That quiche looks pretty good!

Yesterday I made a vegetable curry with okra, baby carrots and green beans; then another (South Indian) veg curry called Aviyal: plantains, cauliflower, yellow courgettes/zucchini, green peas, red peppers; basmati rice; chicken korma; pakoras, vadas and kachori. Raita and pooris when I got to the client's house.

It was great! That the first I've ever had it, but it's done like every other braised dish I like to make, so it's not difficult, just time consuming.
Some recipes were so similar to beef bourguignon that I often make, that I opted for white wine and chicken stock so that it would stand apart, plus diced fire roasted tomatoes and proscuitto.
Interestingā¦one of the recipes MrsT reviewed when making that bolognese suggested using white wine in place of the usual red wine as a way to make it stand out.

Some recipes called for red wine and veal or beef stock, and others called for white wine and chicken stock, and some for proscuitto or various canned tomatoes, and some without, so I picked out the things I liked from several of them, adjusted the ratios to suit me, and went from there.

I so want pot roast again, and I looked to see if I had everything ready to go, and for some reason, my InstaPot is missing. It's not in my home, and I have no idea why I don't have it anymore. It's not exactly small; that's like losing your toaster oven. It's just weird.
