Solo dinner today.

Baked potato with cheddar & tuna, stuffed peppers & cucumber

And for dessert some strawberries with vanilla Greek yoghurt and ediible bronze decoration powder

I sure miss Blue Plate mayonnaise. Dukes is good, though.

I usually get whatever is on sale but I think Blue Plate is cheaper than others on a regular basis. I don't buy much mayonnaise.

A 30 oz jar lasts several months around here. We just don't see Blue Plate here. I too usually buy what's on sale, and if Duke's is $3.99 and has extended "best if used by" dates, I'll get 2.

Yeah, I am weird about homemade mayonnaise because I detest the idea of the egg "whites". If I were to make homemade mayonnaise, it would likely be vegan. But I don't like aquafaba either, so...

We use the yolk and the dogs get a treat...

But there is still snot attached to the yolk. I am fine with commercial mayonnaise for some reason, but I gag at the idea of making it myself. I do like kewpie the best.

With a bit of gravy..it was good.
Morning here so just a cuppa.
Last school day here for 2 weeks.
Wifes on holiday.

I like cordon bleu quite a bit! My DH knows how to make those from scratch. We need to do that again sometime soon.

I usually buy 4 when.im.at the butchers trying to get a bit of variety.i our meals
I usually buy fresh ham and knock up a salad and pretend it's summer.
