Going to adopt my new family member tomorrow and it's a road trip, complete with a rental car and a packed lunch! Not driving my 21yo sometimes goes clunk truck. 🤠

The best AF hotdog halves with lettuce, mayo, mustard, and Brimms cheddar bacon crunchy things...

Bunch of stuff I ate on a visit to Thailand this past week:

Ubiquitous street meat on sticks - pork I expect. Sweet, sticky and satisfying:

Some kind of fried bean curd/shrimp dim sum:

Love me some pineapple Fanta. Not available in Singapore...

I always like to try out the localized McDonald's offerings. Here's a Parmesan Cheese Sauce Double QPC. It was very delicious!

Wingbean salad. Very delicious and I've never seen or eaten a 'wingbean' before. You can see the sort of 'x' shaped cross-sections. Spicy.

Fried larb balls. Larb is a spicy ground pork salad, but here they take that mix and fry it into these:

Crispy fried pork belly:

Avocado ice cream. The flavour worked suprisingly well:

Chicken wing stuffed with Northern Thai Sausage:

Khao Soi - famous Northern Thai curry soup noodle with those crispy fried noodle toppings:

I dunno the Thai name of this - it's an amazing beef broth with various bits of meat. I had some pork and beef tendon. There are some thick rice noodles beneath. Doesn't look like much but this was probably the best thing I ate on the trip.

No trip to Thailand is complete without some Tom Yum soup:

I've got hundreds more pics!

This McDonald's thing looked way better in the advert:

Is that meant to be a burger dipped in a cheese sauce? That’s what it looks like in the picture.

We have something similar here, but cranked up a notch, since it’s at a sit-down place - a big cheeseburger cut in half and served cut sides down in a pool of hot cheese sauce.
