What did you cook or eat today (March 2026)

Is that meant to be a burger dipped in a cheese sauce? That’s what it looks like in the picture.

We have something similar here, but cranked up a notch, since it’s at a sit-down place - a big cheeseburger cut in half and served cut sides down in a pool of hot cheese sauce.

No. In addition to the regular cheese slice, there's supposed to be some cheesey sauce spread on the top bun. It was there, but it definitely wasn't oozing out like in the picture!

ATK or Cook's Country did a burger with gruyere dipped in a fondue like gruyere sauce a while back. Yes, I jotted the idea down, just haven't gotten to it yet, though I may use butterkäse since I have a couple packages of that in my cheese stash.

Cuban pot roast. Pork butt cooked in mojo and chicken stock, with potatoes, onions and carrots. Normally, it would be yuca instead of potatoes, but I'm not fond of yuca particularly and Craig doesn't care either way. Leftovers for Cuban sandwiches!
