What did you cook or eat today (March 2026)

For something that’s such a standard here, this is the first time I’ve ever made it.
 
Do you make the dough or is it biscuits or phyllo dough?
These Pigs in a blanket are frozen Kroger brand... dump it out on the a lined baking tray and you've got a heavenly snack in 20 minutes from the hot box.

Today I followed along this recipe which involved some sauces/condiments I didn't really use before in this dish (Golden Mountain seasoning and black bean paste) and they were an improvement. Also a garnish of chopped kaffir lime leaf, mint and Thai basil adorn it which I wouldn't have bothered with in the past, but it makes a lot of difference - when you close your eyes you can almost imagine being in Bangkok!

My wife said it's very nice so looks like she hasn't got tired of Thai food yet!
