We used to have a plentiful supply of what my grandfather said were the biggest pheasants he had ever seen.

If we left a door open, we could guarantee that we would find at least one in the house. If you opened the door, they ran TOWARDS you, not away from you.... In fact, on one occasion, we managed to go away on the Friday night and came home late on Sunday night, to find the front door wide open. Our first thoughts were not what everyone else would be thinking - but were instead "oh crap, just how many pheasants will be in the house?"
Absolutely beautiful!
 
Rosemary, courgette, yoghurt and rice cake, with tomato sauce, broccoli, various and peas.

The courgettes, rosemary, lemons, basil (and the stray yellow bean!) and tomatoes are all home grown, the yoghurt home made and the eggs from my own chooks.
