Finally I have the Thanksgiving menu down, i usually build them up. It looks like I won’t be able to do the celeriac and leeks dish, oh well, maybe another day. All this starting at 6:30 AM. My daughter helped with the Brussels sprout, and my husband is responsible to do the mashed potato, i never do it right.
Here is what for dinner
- Escarole, Romaine, watercress, arugula, cucumber, pomegranate salad.
- yam and pecan toppings with brown sugar, this year I skip the marshmallow, if Ieat sugar i might as well eat the real thing
- rapini sautéed with garlic
- steam green beans
- steam Brussels sprout
- beetroot salad with pistachio
- cranberry/mandarin/ginger sauce
- mashed potato
- one turkey with the New England stuffing with apple, onion, sausage
- one city ham à la Alton Brown recipe
