• I’ve added a casual chat room to CookingBites as a place for off-topic banter, light conversation, and short-lived chit-chat that doesn’t belong in forum threads. The chat room is informal and lightly-to-not moderated, with messages being temporary, so it’s ideal for friendly back-and-forth that would otherwise derail discussions. We had breakfast but then had to leave for the TV studio at about 12.30. About an hour's wait in the studio ( all "SHHHHH! Recording!!) and then we finally got to record our bit. By the time we got out it was 4.30 and we were starving. Straight to Chez Woo Chinese, where we wolfed down sweet& sour prawns, fried wonton, veggie rice, fried rice, spring rolls and chicken. That hit the spot!

Do you get paid at all for the TV appearance - or do you see it as free publicity for your catering business?

No payment because it's not really a money-making slot in the show. Publicity for the (half-dead) business is always good though!
 
Leftovers for dinner last night

... from Texas Roadhouse with my mom. I cut up the leftover rib eye steak, had some grilled onions & red bell pepper leftover from the sausage sando the other night, warmed the leftover green beans - also from Texas Roadhouse and added some of my AF Frittes.
YUM! And you won't believe that we still had some leftovers!!! That's be breakfast for Moi - DH doesn't care for Steak & Eggs :o_o:
