What did you cook or eat today (September 2025)?

Tom Kha.
A new range of paste mixes I found. Not bad, needs a higher proportion of coconut milk in the broth to make it richer, like I had in the beach bars last year. Still have plenty left so I will tweak next time

Char grilled Galbi (Kalbi-Korean BBQ short ribs, flanked cut), my Quick Cucumber Kim Chee (kimchi, whatever) and that ever present steamed White Rice... I'm in heaven.
I took a pair of kitchen shears and cut off the bones for my persnickety DH, who can't touch his food... I saved the bones for myself to gnaw on later
Mrs. Next Door Neighbor texted me later in the evening, asking me what was I grilling? "Man, that smelled delicious!"
:smug:

I save bones and in the AF @ 350 for 8 minutes then 390 for 5 minutes then pressure cook for an hour for broth. That's coming out of the fridge and just enough water to cover. 👌
