Yea, I thought that was weird too.Ricotta? In a spanakopita??
Do you think in Montreal, they just call it "Steak Seasoning"? Also, when Chinese people get Chinese food, do they just call it "Caucasian"? And why is it called "Writing a check" and not a "Yugoslavian"?I've got one of those $6lb ribeyes marinating in a soy based marinade with garlic and smoky Montreal steak seasoning. I'll make broccoli and cheese sauce for a side.

What has always gotten me, and I make every effort to correct...
Is why, in a restaurant, people ask for "the check"?
I have always asked for the bill. They aren't exactly writing me a check are they?
So, my fajitas got kicked up a few notches tonight.
I had found a sauce in the store called Herdez Guacamole Salsa. Usually I just spoon some sour cream or taco sauce on them, if anything, but I picked up a jar of the Herdez because it was buy the flour tortillas. And wow. Very nice. I chilled it first.
I'm going to have to find some other uses for this. Or make fajitas more often.
I've picked that up at DG and it's pretty good for as cheap as it is.![]()
Aldi has a nice selection of tortilla chips. I like the lime and salt one.Yeah, I gotta pick up some tostitos tomorrow.
Or make more fajitas![]()
