Just watching "How's It Made?" on telly, and they are doing coffee. I know what the beans (or stones) taste like once they'd been processed and roasted, but do the cherries they come from have any particular flavour? Is there any hint of coffee, or do they taste like cherries? Are they even edible?
(I know there's that civet that eats them, and the stones that have passed through it are highly prized. But I'll be surprised if there are any civets who are members on here....)
