For maybe the past three or four days, I have been feeling lousy!
I realize that I have to eat something, as well as drink loads of fluids in order to help my body heal itself.

I went deep freezer diving and came up with alot of my homemade soups, individually portioned out, perfect!
I've managed to get down about half a cups worth of some sort of soup, twice a day.
For liquids, I've stuck with Peppermint Tea, water and Lipton's Brisk Raspberry Iced Tea.

Then a thought just struck me.
I really want something more "solid" to eat.
I remembered when we were kids and home sick from school, mom gave us tea & toast.

Can I tell you how much that hit the spot?
I gave out an audible sigh.

So tell us, what do you reach for when you're ill and know that you need to eat some food in order to take those meds and not get an upset stomach...

I remembered another dish that we would get when we were sick kids, Soft Boiled Eggs with Buttered Toast (Soldiers) and Hot Cocoa, if our tummies were not revolting.

GREAT!
Now I want a Soft Boiled Egg, but I'm just rubbish at making them ... a poached Egg will suffice!

Albeit, I have little appetite ... maybe for supper ...

As a small kid, I contracted Rubella, German Measles and was hospitalized for a long time, don't know how long - I was little, like 5 years old and a very sick little girl.
All I could have was 7-Up or Ginger Ale... CAN'T STAND the stuff to this day!!!
