I can barely recall; it was a very long time ago that I saw/read about it. There is some kind of super decadent dessert, I'm pretty sure it's European, maybe Dutch, or Swiss, where the recipe calls for an incredibly large amount of ingredients. I'm not sure what they all are, it's like chocolate, eggs, cream, etc.. and the end product of the dessert is a small square/bar of chocolate that is super condensed. It's like a massive reduction and incredibly concentrated and decadent. It's been bugging me. I used to know what it was.

Slight US/UK confusion here. Dessert here isn't a cake with the exception perhaps of luxurious gateaux.

Is what you refer to a type of baked goods with flour, like a cake or cookie?

No, these are great guesses, but the thing I'm thinking of is made with a lot of ingredients, not in number, but in quantity (all I can remember is condensed milk for sure, i think eggs, cream, and I also think chocolate) and the final result is a very small amount of product considering how many ingredients went into it. I think I remember it taking quite some time to produce. Like, for argument's sake, say you start off with 10 pounds of tomatoes and the final result will be less than one pound of product, that's how ridiculously condensed this "thing" is.

The mystery deepens...

Can you describe any more precisely what it looks like!? And given it is small, is it one per person?
