another book that distracted me more called ‘White Trash Cooking’ I was torn, it’s sold a lot of copies, it’s an older cookery book that’s got great reviews and no doubt recipe’s I’d be interested in

Sliders not sandals!

My shallow, slave to fashion colleague gets very angry if you call them sandals or flip flops...they are sliders!!!

He needs to get a life

You should tell him the only thing worse than sandals with socks is being so into The Sandal Life that he differentiates between types of sandals.

Be sure to add, “You heard me, Terrence. Sandals. They’re all sandals. Now either put on some proper shoes or take those socks off!”

The childish instinct that appeared upon seeing the bottom part of a glass door missing ( taken out for repair), whoo, I could crawl in?
Goes without saying, I stood upright, rang the bell and let the door open properly.
