We were standing at the traffic light, kid and I, and it was one of those brief crystal insight awareness moments, my goodness, she has grown. 
Hillarious,as I see her every day, but you know how it is...she is so tall, above my eyeglasses level. 175 cm roughly.
And she was a breadloaf sized little baby that many years ago.
We laughed, and it still makes me smile.

That picture reminds me of me at that same age, when my mom's car overheated. My dad took the radiator cap off, and we both got showered with boiling water.
I studied art in college, my dad studied engineering. The thing I leaned most from him is how NOT to fix cars, and things around the house. My grandfather could fix anything. Somehow, those genes skipped over my dad and went to me.
